It has been anounced that since no bids were placed for the 2010 Region Twelve Summit, and due to the economic condition facing members of the Twelfth Fleet, tha a meeting of the Region Twelve Member will be taling place during the 2010 STARFLEET International Conference, being held at the Western Hills Guest Ranch at the Squoyah State Park near Wagoner, Oklahoma.

 Region Twelve Coordinator Jeffery Higdon made the announcement in early November, 2009.  His main concerns were economical, citing that it is not unuasual for members of the Region to goto the IC instead of the region summit, espeicially if the IC is held within the confines of R12.  Recently applications bids were being accepted for the 2011 R12 Summit.

Higdon plans to present the Yearly Awards and give the 'State of the Region' address during the meeting, which will only be an 1 hour in length.  Preliminary suggestions is that this meeting will be held on Friday. July 30 after the Marine Mess.
